Lays on 4 districts (Konawe, Konawe Selatan, Bombana, Kolaka) in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. 

Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park has 105.194 ha consist of wetlands, peat-lands, swamp, savanna, mangroves, and forest.

 The swamp specifically located in the north part covering 11.488 ha as the catchment area that plays an important role to ecology and hydrology for the mainland.

 It's home for 500 kinds of plant, 28 kinds of mammal, 7 kinds of amphibia, 4 kinds of reptile, and 207 kinds of bird.
