Alamanda by Hasrul Kokoh

Allamanda cathartica, the scientific name of the family Apocynaceae. Generally known as
flower alamanda, golden-trumpet, common allamanda,
kampanilya. Since childhood I recognize this as a trimmer in parks and
home’s garden. This painting had been owned by Dr. Mondale Sahputra, SpOG, and
displyed in his new home in Belibis Motor, Jalan S. Parman, nomor 106, Lolong -
Padang, West Sumatra. Hopefully the painting is giving positive energy and happiness
in the new house.

One in Million can be displayed
vertical or horizontal. It took a month of time completing this painting. I can
imagine how the artist of writing batik can be finished its intricate and
beautiful work. This painting represents one of my points of view of life.
